The house system has been an integral part of the Manaslu student council in our school. Our houses with bona fide prefects run the student council. Manaslu, the word itself has a great meaning as “mountain of the spirit” and is derived from the Sanskrit word ‘manasa’.
Therefore, the names of our house system pay homage to the spirits of mankind: gumption, resilience, amity and integrity.
At the time of enrollment at Manaslu, the students are allocated to one of the houses by house sorting ceremony. It helps encourage camaraderie amongst pupils.
